Roto-Rooter Savannah makes donation to Habitat for Humanity

A Savannah business steps up to help a community organization.Tuesday morning, Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Savannah presented a check for $8,000 to Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity.The funds came from the company’s annual Royal Flush Casino Night held back in February.The donation will be used to help cover expenses of homes built by Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity this year.”It’s so easy for me cause I’m all about home, I love designing a home,” said Sherry Daniel, Owner, Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Savannah. “I can’t tell you how many homes I’ve redone and I know what it’s like. I’ve never forgotten the first home I owned and how it felt when I get to move in there.””This $8,000 is a tremendous blessing for us,” added Jed Young, Board President, Coastal Empire Habitat for Humanity. “It goes towards all the costs that we had to put up first to get the house going.”This year, Coastal Habitat for Humanity just finished building its seventh and final planned home for 2020.
