It’s that time of the year again. Spring cleaning time, and this is the year to do it big! After spending the past year in our homes, it’s become clear that our homes are our sanctuary. The place we spend every day and rest our heads at night is very important and it’s especially important to keep them clean and updated. In the past year, we’ve learned what we like, what we love and what we maybe don’t need anymore. We’ve also discovered all the leaking faucets, old pipes, outdated fixtures and overdue renovations that we didn’t have time to notice before. Wash your Dishwasher

Often, we think of the dishwasher as a very clean and sanitary thing. We put dirty dishes in, and beautiful sparkly ones come out. But do we ever really think to wash our dishwasher? Food and grit can build up in places you wouldn’t expect causing potential damage and hindrance to the performance of your dishwasher. It could even lead to a leak! The dishwasher is no different from your shower, sink or toilet, they need proper washing. Take the racks out and properly scrub the inside of your dishwasher this Spring.

Clean your Showerhead

Much like the dishwasher, not many of us would think to clean a showerhead. However, if you’re experiencing low water pressure, your problem could be as simple as a clogged shower head. Soak your showerhead in vinegar and water for one hour then wipe it down….
