With its latest merchandising initiative — The Lowe’s List for Innovation — just breaking today, the big boxer continues to up its game in its never-ending competition with its arch-retail-rival Home Depot
. Based on its recent activities it is very much working to close that gap as never before.

The Innovation List is a merchandising campaign to identify products within the Lowe’s assortment that stand out for their design, functionality and originality. Some are existing items, some are new; some are exclusives, some are not.
