WITH summer well and truly here, DIY lovers have been giving their gardens a much-needed glow up, so they can make the most of the warmer weather right on their doorstep.
One home renovations fans decided to do just that and transform their tired-looking patio into an Instagram-worthy space – and all they used to do so was a can of paint and a stylish stencil.
Jessica Grizzle (known on Instagram as @grizzle_abode) shared a video of her stunning patio transformation to social media and how she created the chic and modern look.
She revealed that her outdoor space was in need of some TLC, with the concrete slabs making up her patio outside left stained and worn.
Getting creative, the DIY enthusiast settled on painting her patio white and jazzing it up by adding a patterned grey design on top using a stencil (£38, Dizzy Duck Designs).
First, she cleaned the entire patio, before painting over it with a coat of white Masonry paint (£31, B&Q).
To finish, she went over the dried white paint with a stencil, using the grey and sealing her handiwork to ensure it stays in place.
