Lockdown tresses have been proving to be a challenge for Northern Ireland’s hairdressers, as they take their scissors to the worst DIY hairstyle disasters after the four-month salon lockdown.

Ken McClure, from Kenneth Michael Hair and Beauty in east Belfast, revealed the most common issue he had been confronted with is patchy hair dye resulting from using at-home bleach or dye kits.
